Deal straight with the drillers, no middlemen, no markups.
Accurate siting with state-of-the-art equipment that sets us apart, increasing the chances of finding water
Site visits, honest advice, and upfront costs with no surprises.

Borehole Drilling was founded to deliver professional borehole services straight to clients, bypassing middlemen. Since 2016, we have completed over 1,000 projects—serving homes, farms, and challenging sites where other teams fell short. Our dedicated teams operates a fleet of self-owned rigs in various sizes, allowing us to reach difficult locations and drill to the depths required for reliable water sources.
We utilise state of the art geophysical siting techniques to pinpoint the best locations and follow industry standards for casing, gravel packs, and installations. Our commitment to safety is upheld through compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and are registered with the Borehole Water Association of Southern Africa.

Our siting and drilling processes are seamlessly integrated—we only drill where we’ve conducted siting, and we only site where we plan to drill. This approach allows us to offer a 100% refund if no water is found, providing you with complete confidence in our service.

We drill boreholes using our own rigs and skilled teams. Every project is executed to the appropriate depth, reinforced with casing and gravel packs for durability and longevity. We never compromise on quality or use substandard materials. Whether for your home, farm, or commercial site, our boreholes are installed to deliver the best quality borehole possible.

Yield testing assesses the volume of water your borehole can produce under typical conditions. We conduct controlled pumping tests to determine sustainable flow rates, ensuring the installed pump aligns with the borehole’s capacity. This critical step prevents strain, dry running, or long-term damage, contributing to reliable and enduring performance.

We collect samples from your borehole and send them to accredited laboratories for comprehensive water-quality analysis. The results indicate whether the water is safe for drinking, livestock, or irrigation. Based on the findings, we provide tailored recommendations for treatment or filtration, ensuring your water remains clean and safe for years to come.

We install pumps and filters customised to your borehole’s tested output and depth. Our team partners with trusted brands to ensure reliability and efficiency. Each system is designed for easy maintenance and long-term performance, delivering the right pressure and clean water with full installation support.

We provide and install water tanks equipped with pressure pumps and filters tailored to your borehole yield. Every setup is unique for dependable water storage and consistent pressure across your home or farm. From individual tanks to complete water systems, we ensure seamless daily operation.

Agents often promise the world but deliver short-lived results. Many “drilling companies” are actually agents who sub-contract the drilling and use the cheapest methods to save costs: shallow holes, thin casings, no gravel pack, and minimal testing. When the borehole fails, those agents often vanish.
We run siting surveys, own the rigs that reach the required depth, use proper materials and test yield before recommending pumps. We document our work so you can see what was done.
Avoid guesswork and costly repairs. Book a professional siting survey so you get the right location, the right depth, and the right pump. Contact us today or fill in the contact form to start. We provide firm quotes after siting.
We operate mainly in Thohoyandou and surrounding areas, with regular work in Gauteng. We have the capacity to take jobs nationwide on request.
Our team holds drilling and safety certifications, we follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act guidelines, and we are registered with the Borehole Water Association of Southern Africa. We provide documentation for materials and testing on completion.
“Finally, a company that looked well priced who also delivered well — water’s been great for over a year now.”

“Took ownership and sorted our borehole we almost gave up on while using an agent; the team showed up with a rig all the way from Gauteng.”

Practical answers to common concerns.
Depth varies depending on your location and geology — typically between 40 and 150 metres. We drill until we reach a reliable water source suitable for your home or farm.
No driller can guarantee water, but our geophysical siting process gives a very high success rate and reduces the risk of dry holes.
Most projects take two to four days from siting to final installation, depending on access, terrain, and weather conditions.
Yes. We handle everything — siting, drilling, yield testing, pump setup, filtration, and tank installation — all done by our own team and rigs.
The price depends on depth, terrain, and material requirements. On average, expect between R20,000 and R120,000. We confirm costs after the site survey.
Quotes cover drilling, casing, and labour. Pumps, tanks, and filtration systems are priced separately based on what your borehole requires.
Yes. A deposit secures your booking and covers mobilisation costs. The remaining balance is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments can be made via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) using the banking details provided on your invoice. Proof of payment confirms your booking or completion.
